Looking Back (2014)

 Looking back at 2014

My word for 2014 was:

*** TRUST ***

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to him,

and he will make your paths straight."

Proverbs 3:5-6

Isn't that awesome?  It's something I've worked on in 2014 & will definitely continue to do in 2015 & beyond.

Here are some highlights of 2014:

We had a big snow storm that shut down the city.

I turned 38 years old.

We celebrated 3 years in Portland.

Jack (our dog) turned 16 years old.

We celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary.

Grace turned 5 & we went camping at the coast.

My husband turned 40.

Grace earned her first stripe in martial arts, had her first ever sleep over, & she lost her first tooth!  (and second, too) 

We also had many family members visit us here in Portland throughout the year.

Vacations- we made 2 trips to see family & went camping twice (for a total of 3 nights).

Our saddest moment of 2014 was saying goodbye to our beloved dog Jack.
