We just came home from our third camping trip of the year. It was so much fun. It was predicted to be a hot weekend, so we were glad to get out of the city.
We took the longer route to the campground & stopped at a mountain to play with SNOW & watch the skiers and snowboarders go by (in June!!!). Grace had a blast.
We arrived at our campground at 4 pm. We decided to wait until it cooled off a bit before we set up the tent, so instead we took out some toys and set up our chairs facing the water.
We ended up at the same campground as our first trip (due to lack of availability because it was a last minute trip) but we had a different site this time (hmmmm... so I guess that means we'll go camping 6 times this year, since my goal is 5 different spots!). It was a GORGEOUS site- under a beautiful big tree & with an amazing view of the river.
We had a surprisingly relaxing weekend & were able to escape the heat. It even got cool enough at night to use our sleeping bags!
I'm already looking forward to our next camping trip. :-)
The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground-
trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food.
