2013 was a year of ups & downs.  We lost our beloved dog Thundra, we sold our old home (finally!), we went camping (5 times!!!), we traveled & visited family, we tried to sell our investment property (to no avail), we didn't move!, we laughed, we cried, we worried, we prayed, & we loved.  

Grace has grown & learned so much this year.  She is so amazing.  She attended her first classes by herself (art) & went to her first rock concert (Switchfoot!).  She's an awesome traveler (except for her motion sickness.  Boooo!).  She has an amazing memory & loves learning.  She knows the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, song lyrics.  She can spell her first & last name, and also knows her address & birthday.  She loves creating "sculptures", drawing, coloring, playing with her instruments, dancing, reading books, imaginative play.  She's interested in learning to tell time & wants to help with cooking.  She enjoys going to the library, science museum, children's museum, zoo, playgrounds, farmer's market, grocery store, book store, or walking around the city.

I'm grateful for so much, including our health, living in this glorious city, our amazing family, & being a wife and mother.  I look forward to what God has in store for us in 2014.
